Magnetic Island works fall within a World Heritage Area, roads associated with this project included West Point Road, Cockle Bay Drive, Apjohn Street and Parker Street.
Further works were required at Woodstock (approximately 45km South of Townsville) on Webb Road.
The projects consist of Rural Road Grading as Heavy Formation Grading with gravel top up with either 50 or 75mm gravel.

- Heavy and medium formation grading, including excavation and disposal of surplus materials from drains to achieve the Rural Road Cross Section.
- Bulk fill.

- Gravel supply and top-up.
