As part of the new Industrial Subdivision in Stuart for the Cleveland Bay Industrial Park, a new Signalised intersection was required coming off the existing Port Access Road (Ron McLean Drive).
The new intersection included widening the existing 2-lane Port Access Road, to 4-lanes with added turning lanes and medians to suit Road Train configuration Heavy Vehicles.
The formation of the road was widened for approximately 750m, and additional road lighting was installed.
