East Port Development – Laydown and Intersection & Connection Road

Laydown – Bulk earthworks, civil and approximately 14ha of pavement works to deliver a dedicated laydown area in the East Port Precinct Area using Ground Surface Treatment and installation of 1.6km of galvanised security fencing with 2 double swing gates.
Benwell Road Intersection Upgrade – Widened to a left turning, right turning and straight through lane in both the North and South bound direction. The scope includes all existing services and infrastructure adjustments to suit the upgraded intersection.
East Port Connection Road Construction – To provide access to the future intermodal facilities, Port expansion land areas and to enable access to the dedicated windfarm laydown area.
