Mendi help with Cyclone Kirrily clean-up.

Heading straight for Townsville on the lead up to the event, the system eventually crossed land as a Category 2 just north of Townsville on 25th January.

Mendi's services where called upon after the wake of Cyclone Kirrily, January 2024.

Bringing with it strong winds and rainfall, resulted in a large abount of Townsville street trees being up-rooted.

Mendi assisted with setting up and working at temporary green waste facilities at Lou Lister Park and the Hervey Range Landfill.

​With over 1,860km of roads in the Townsville catchment, further works came about with the provision of Trucks and Labour to assist Council crews clear green waste from residents kerb-sides and transporting to these facilities for mulching.
