Mendi Tropical Big Bash 2023

Mendi Group is excited to be supporting once again the Mendi Tropical Big Bash. Mendi Group have been involved in the competition for the last 3 years. As Mendi Group’s Managing Director, Jeff Doyle states “it’s a good concept, new and exciting form of cricket”.
 
4 teams will come head-to head:

• EV2 Lions
• Reldas Ringers
• Gold City Bulls
• Wildcatz Indoor Sports

 
Let’s see if last year’s winners, Reldas Ringers, can hold onto the title.
 
To get the games started, a Draft Night is held at Rydges Southbank on June 20.  This event is open to the public, come along and join in the fun and enjoy the commentary of the great Glenn ‘Minty’ Mintern.  Here the 4 team owners get a chance to pick their 15 players. Things can get “extremely intense” says organiser Peter Busch, President North Queensland Cricket.
 
Matches will be held at the Brothers, Wests and Wanders cricket grounds over the 4 weeks.

• Round 1 – July 22 & 23
• Round 2 – July 29 & 30
• Finals Round 1 – August 6
• Finals Round 2 – August 13
