Works Commenced at the Disused Jensen Landfill

​Mendi Group commenced clearing works this week and the disused Jensen Landfill.

Once we get through the overgrowth, capping works will consist of:

• Passive Landfill Gas System.
• Site earthworks and profiling.
• Installation of Double sided textured LLDPE.
• Subsurface drainage geocomposite.
• Leachate interception trench, sump and perimeter bund.
• Stormwater control bunds.
• 300mm Cover soil.
• 200mm Topsoil.
