Laydown – Bulk earthworks, civil and approximately 14ha of pavement works to deliver a dedicated laydown area in the East Port Precinct Area using Ground Surface Treatment.
Benwell Road Intersection Upgrade – Widened to a left turning, right turning and straight through lane in both the North and South bound direction. The scope includes all existing services and infrastructure adjustments to suit the upgraded intersection.
East Port Connection Road Construction – To provide access to the future intermodal facilities, Port expansion land areas and to enable access to the dedicated windfarm laydown area.

Bulk earthworks for a proposed retirement living facility, import of general fill (CBR 3 min -200mm screened) 111,427m3.
Works include tree clearing and grubbing, stripping of topsoil, earthworks (cut to fill), batters to future stages, excavate, remove and replace unsuitable material, erosion and sediment control, dust protection, spreading topsoil, hydromulch, and testing.

Previously constructed works on the batters (by other) at the site, which includes a bituminous geomembrane (BGM) and a geocomposite drain required removal.
The purpose of this work is to remove previously installed impacted works and provide a final capping system on the batter that promotes surface water run-off, limits water percolation into underlying waste and contains leachate within the waste material.
