Upgrade of the Hervey Range Road / Lynam Road intersection to allow increased traffic volumes on Lynam Road.
Works consist of earthworks, including excavation and embankment construction and retaining structures;
Stormwater drainage, including pipes, pits and outlet structures; Subsurface drainage; Pavement, consisting of subgrade preparation, testing, insitu stablilisation and replacement (where necessary), unbound granular base layers, cement treated base layers and asphalt pavements, concrete base pavements or reinforced concrete base; and road furniture, signposting, and line marking, where required.
Works were undertaken as per Council and Main Roads Specifications.

Located on a 16.5Ha site at the Northern Beaches of Townsville Mendi were engaged to undertake the Civil Infrastructure works for the new Northern Beaches Retirement Village. To prepare the site for earthworks, 3 dwellings were required to be demolished and all materials removed from site.
- Earthworks required 43,895m3 of cut to fill on site.
- Roadworks consisted of concrete pavements totalling 6,830m2 (11,952m3).
- 1.6km of stormwater drainage pipes.
- 2.6km of water pipes.
- 1.6km of sewer pipes.

The first stages of construction of a $210 million over-50s development in the Harris Crossing Estate, by developer Living Gems.
Mendi was awarded the initial bulk earthworks component of the project involving the import of general fill (CBR 3 min -200mm screened) 156,162t.
Works moved on to include the Civil infrastructure component for Stages 1 & 2. This includes:

- Concrete Roadworks & Drainage (9,964m2 equaling 17,000m3 concrete pavements, 1km of drainage pipes)
- Sewer Reticulation (1.2km of sewer pipes)
- Water Reticulation (2.7km of water pipes)
- External Sewer & Sewer Works (connect to existing)

The works consist of the construction of earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, water reticulation, sewer reticulation and electrical and telecommunications ducting for the new 151 allotments.
Part of the work area is rock which required controlled blasting, Mendi was to manage the blasting crew. The blast material was to be crushed on site to 75mm minus and carted to future stages in Precinct 5.
