DRFA REPA Works Restoration of Road & Drainage Assets

The work includes all necessary civil works for the restoration of road and drainage assets.
Works were across several sites in Townsville (Paluma Dam area) and on Magnetic Island.
Works in the Paluma area fall within the Wet Tropics Area, while works on Magnetic Island fall within a World Heritage Area, relevant legislation for those areas had to be complied with at all times.
Works consisted of heavy and medium formation grading, bulk fill, bulk excavate surplus material, gravel re-sheeting and gravel supply and top-up.
